It's the middle of a HOT, HOT, HOT, July, but there are lots of fun quilty things coming up during the next couple of weeks.

2012 National Quilt Invitational Exhibition at the Brigham City Museum/Gallery. Their shows are always inspiring and fun to see. The Museum is open Tues. - Friday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sat. 1 - 5 p.m. The featured artist is Dianna Grundhauser of Makawao, HI. She will present a workshop on Aug. 11 at the Museum. July 14th - August 28th:
It's time for the annual quilt show at the Springville Art Museum. This is a "must see" show, so get your friends together and plan a road trip to Springville, Ut. The Museum is closed on Mondays and has extended hours on Wednesdays.
Utah Valley Quilt Guild will host their annual July Fair at the Springville Art Museum from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30p.m. This is always a fun day! Free classes, vendor's mall, and much more. For more information go to their website at: UVQG .
The Summer Lecture Series at This Is The Place continues with Sandra Starley on July 28th. Sandra is an expert on antique quilts and history as well as a certified quilt appraiser. Check the UQG website for more information. Remember, UQG members get free admission to the lectures, but you must present your membership card.
Quilt Days at Colonial House will be July 31st this month. Date change due to Pioneer Days celebrations throughout the state.
