It's time for summer to slow down just a bit so we can enjoy it a little more! June has just flown by and this coming weekend is the 4th of July already!!
Snake River Valley Quilt Guild in Idaho Falls hosted their Quilt Show in mid-June. I did get to see all of the quilts up close and personal and you will want to mark your calendars for next year! There were about 120 quilts on exhibit made by some outstanding quilters along with some vendors, demos, etc.
The next "must see" event is the International Quilt Invitational Exhibition hosted by the Brigham City Museum, beginning July 1st - August 23rd. Zena Thorpe is the featured artist this year. There will also be quilts on display from three countries and eleven states. Here is the link for the Museum for more information.
If you attend any shows or events this summer, please send me pictures and a little information so it can be featured here on the blog. You can leave a comment on this post with contact information or send an email to "firstname.lastname@example.org".
Have a fun, safe 4th of July!
